Career
Isabel’s background as a professional dancer for over a decade has provided her with a unique understanding of the physical moving body and a heightened sensitivity to the nuances of body therapy. Her personal experiences with injuries, injury prevention, and the demands of a high-performance career have shaped her compassionate approach. Following two concussions during her dance work, Isabel sought healing through biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST), which inspired her to pursue training in craniosacral therapy and massage.
During her internships at Womankind, an organization supporting survivors of gender-based violence, and the Joffrey Ballet School, Isabel applied her skills to provide specialized care. She utilized trauma-informed verbal techniques at Womankind and employed an orthopedic approach to assist ballet dancers, teachers, and individuals of all ages.
