Find Stability & Strength To Live a Fuller Life
With Our Expert Physical Therapy Care

We will build a framework for your physical therapy plan of care in our comprehensive initial evaluation.  We’ll always start off with establishing your multidisciplinary care team.  Chronic diseases like hEDS, Endometriosis, and Chronic Pain require a team of providers to efficiently manage your symptoms. We’ll help you build your team!

Our focus is on your unique physical goals. Everyone’s journey with chronic conditions varies and we want to be clear on what you hope to achieve and we’ll build our plan of care around this.

We will establish an initial foundational home exercise program in your first evaluation session.  The initial evaluation involves majority discussion. If time allows we will also begin manual therapy techniques. In follow-up sessions we will have more time for hands-on care and exercise instruction.

Different central nervous system based manual therapy techniques (hands-on techniques) such as craniosacral therapy, vagus nerve manual therapy, and visceral manipulation will be utilized during our sessions.

Varied myofascial techniques such as active release technique, strain counter strain, and Graston technique will be utilized.

We also offer a state of the art Winback TECAR modality. This radiofrequency based modality is extremely helpful for patients with chronic pain, abdominal bloating, muscle weakness and more.  It is comfortable to receive even for those who are highly sensitive.

For movement re-education and therapeutic exercise we build home exercise programs for you to reinforce movement discovery that happens in our in person sessions. Mindfulness based movements and Pilates exercises are utilized for our in person sessions.

Who Can Benefit from Pelvic Health Physical Therapy at Our Practice

Whether you’re experiencing pelvic pain, are pregnant, postpartum, having some urinary leakage or bowel dysfunction; pelvic health physical therapy is for individuals across the lifespan and for all genders!

Pelvic prep is an important component of prenatal pelvic floor physical therapy where we prepare expecting mothers who wish to have a vaginal delivery. The physical demands of delivering a baby vaginally require a lot of push prep as well as pelvic floor muscle preparation.

Postpartum women need care to recover from their baby’s delivery whether it was vaginal or c-section.  Support is necessary in the 4th trimester and beyond to help with recovery and aide in your return to function.

Both men and women can experience bowel dysfunction, urinary incontinence, and/or pelvic pain.  Pelvic floor physical therapy can assist with this by retraining muscle function for urinary, bowel, and sexual function.
